I've not been on a first date in years, but I do help a lot of people get ready for first dates. In my opinion, there's nothing worse than being under dressed for a first date. You never get another chance to make a great first impression. Well, a first date can be several hours long and no one wants to sit across from someone who looks like they don’t care. This is the time to show off the best "you" without going overboard.
Guys, look like you tried to clean up! Groom your facial hair, including your eyebrows--smell nice, polish your shoes and for goodness sake, check your fly!
Ladies, don’t overdo it--keep your hair sleek, your makeup soft and your perfume lady-like. Wear the best that you can for the date that's been planned.
Above all else look like your best you; It could be your last first date.
